Brendan Rodgers has revealed that Celtic are planning to sign only one more player for the Champions League Qualifiers, his rationale is that a better quality of player will be available towards the end of the transfer window - and of course by then we will know if we have qualified for the Champions League or not.
I can understand Rodgers' reasoning, but it is slightly worrying that any issues we may have - such as signing a new commanding centre-half and a new third choice striker - may not be solved until the end of August. If there is only one more player in addition to Jonny Hayes coming in, I would imagine that it would be either a centre-half or a right winger, as we have been linked with players in both of those positions recently.
Meanwhile, Rodgers recently sat down for an interview with Celtic TV which can watch below.
