THE BIG STORY: Scott Brown has been discussing the merits of the treble winning invincibles, suggesting that the team's fitness and dedication have proved to be two of the most vital elements involved, giving Tom Rogic's winner in the Scottish Cup Final as an example of how fit the team was. He also revealed that Brendan Rodgers called all of the first team squad 'fat' when he took over. Hey, tough love works sometimes apparently.

SITE NEWS: Congratulations to Stuart Armstrong, The Jersey Doesn't Shrink Player of the Year for 2016-17, which you can read about here.

OTHER NEWS: Efe Ambrose is set to join Hibs on a two year deal now that his Celtic contract has run out, best wishes to him in the future.

Ex Celt Didier Agathe has compared his former Celtic boss Martin O'Neill to Brendan Rodgers, especially when it comes to 'man-management'.

ON THIS DAY: In 2000, Martin O'Neill was appointed as Celtic manager. He revolutionised the club, leading Celtic to a treble in his first season and of course to the UEFA Cup Final in Seville in 2003. Altogether he won three league titles, three Scottish Cups and a league cup during his time at the club and will go down as one of the greatest managers in Celtic's history.
