Emilio Izaguirre has revealed to media in Ecuador that Celtic have taken up the option of extending his contract by another year. The left-back, who was out of contract in June, will now be at Celtic for at least another year.
This is good news, as Izzy has proved his worth to Celtic over many years and he played well when he took over from the injured Kieran Tierney earlier in the season.
