THE BIG STORY: Two interesting developments concerning two of Celtic's star youngsters. Firstly, as we reported yesterday, Patrick Roberts will end the season at Celtic, and will not travel to South Korea for the U20 World Cup. Secondly, according to the Daily Mail, and in what must be about the 587th Celtic transfer story since the site started, soon to be English Champions Chelsea want to sign Kieran Tierney, and Celtic have slapped a £17 million valuation on him. Hopefully the Tierney rumours are just paper talk, as it would good to have him at Celtic for a while yet before we inevitably sell him for loads of money.

OTHER NEWS: A Celtic team which we anticipate will have some changes in it takes on St Johnstone today at Celtic Park, read our preview here, and we'll have the usual match report and player ratings up later on.

ON THIS DAY: In 2001, Celtic hammered Hibs 5-2 at Easter Road. A brace by Jackie McNamara of all people had Celtic 2-0 at half-time before Larsson, Stubbs and Moravcik completed the scoring for Celtic. Libra scored two late consolation goals for Hibs. The Alan Stubbs goal was significant as this was his first game back since recovering from cancer.
