THE BIG STORY: Multiple media sources are linking Aberdeen's Jonny Hayes with a move to Celtic. Hayes, who scored Aberdeen's goal in the cup final on Saturday, deal with Aberdeen runs until 2019, so it would cost quite a bit of money to sign him, with the stories suggesting that Ryan Christie, who was on loan at Aberdeen last season, could be part of the deal, but other stories have Aberdeen attempting to sign Christie permanently. The big question is is Hayes good enough for Celtic? He might not be the player to turn us into world beaters in Europe, but would be more than capable of doing a good job for us in the SPFL, and if he's a player that Brendan Rodgers likes then we should attempt to sign him, for the right price of course.

OTHER NEWS: In more transfer news, yesterday we wrote about two English clubs who are after Gary Mackay-Steven on loan, read it here.

Scott Brown has praised the current Celtic squad as 'the best' he has ever played with, and I am inclined to agree with the captain of the invincibles.

Brown was one of the few current players to take part in yesterday's Celtic FC Foundation charity match at Celtic Park, the highlight of which was a hat-trick for the King himself, Henrik Larsson, here are some thoughts from Henrik.
