Friday Round-Up: Rodgers Delight as Celtic Keep Winning

THE BIG STORY: Brendan Rodgers was naturally thrilled with last night's 5-0 win over Partick Thistle - read our match report here and player ratings here - and singled out two goal Patrick Roberts for particular praise, describing him as a 'top, top talent'. He also had words for Leigh Griffiths, who was angry at being substituted early in the second-half, saying that Griffiths briefly 'forgot himself', but that the situation has been dealt with. Rodgers also spoke about the club's unbeaten run, describing it as 'remarkable'. Celtic of course face Hearts on Sunday with the chance of going through an entire league campaign unbeaten, more on that game on the site tomorrow.

ON THIS DAY: Incredibly enough, I couldn't find a single winning game from our illustrious history on this particularly day to write about. Thankfully my research has already found me a game for tomorrow, so the feature shall return then after today's brief absence. In the meantime enjoy last night's end of game celebrations.
