THE BIG STORY: According to the Daily Mail Celtic are set to spend big money - up to £15 million pounds - on players that will eventually take Celtic to the last sixteen of the Champions League. As the article states, the players earmarked for arrival are a striker, a goal-scoring midfielder and a new centre-half, so let the speculation begin. Interestingly, the article also states that Jack Aitchison - who we of course wrote about last month - will feature in the team towards the end of the season. These are very interesting times at Celtic, of course we at The Jersey Doesn't Shrink will be there to bring you all the news as it happens!
OTHER NEWS: Hilarious crisis club Arsenal have AGAIN been linked with Moussa Dembele and Kieran Tierney. Yeah, right. James Forrest hopes that Stuart Armstrong signs a new contract - so do all of us.
SITE NEWS: Yesterday we wrote about how Celtic should use Sunday's game against Rangers as a dress rehearsal for the Scottish Cup semi-final, read it here.
ON THIS DAY: In 1986, Celtic recorded a vital 1-0 win over Aberdeen at Pittodrie to stay in the hunt for the league title. The only goal came early in the second-half from Mo Johnston as Celtic avenged a 4-1 defeat at Pittodrie earlier in the season. Full match highlights are below.
