Some very sad news this morning as Celtic have announced the death of legendary Lisbon Lion Tommy Gemmell at the age of 73.

Gemmell of course was the scorer of one of the most important goals in the club's history, our equaliser against Inter Milan in the 1967 European Cup Final, but it shouldn't be forgotten that he also scored in the 1970 European Cup Final, becoming one of the few players - especially defenders - to score in multiple European Cup Finals.

Aside from the Lisbon triumph Gemmell win 6 league titles, 3 Scottish cups and 4 league cups with Celtic.

We send our condolences to his family.
