Dembele: Four More Years?

With Celtic's next game only three days away things are finally starting to get a bit busier around Celtic Park

  • Of course the big news is that Celtic are planning to build a museum, hotel, etc. in the areas surrounding Celtic Park, you can read our article about it here
  • According to the back page of the Daily Record, Moussa Dembele's agent is claiming that the player will stay at Celtic for four years and will see out his contract. I'd say the chances of the Celtic powers that be allowing that to happen are 0.00000000001%
  • Talking of Dembele, former Celtic player turned 'pundit' Craig Burley has said that the player will join Chelsea in the summer for £40 million
  • Eboue Kouassi played 90 minutes for the Celtic development side in their 1-0 win over Dundee yesterday
  • Can't believe that the blog forgot to wish Georgios Samaras a happy birthday yesterday, we apologise to the man who defines 'Celtic cult hero'
  • ON THIS DAY: In 2004, Celtic established a new Scottish record of 24 league wins in a row, defeating Partick Thistle 4-1 at Firhill, thanks to a pair of braces by Chris Sutton and Stan Varga. Interestingly, former Celtic striker Jorge Cadete came off the bench for Thistle, he had signed for them on a one month contract.
