Player ratings for today's comfortable 2-0 win over Motherwell:

Craig Gordon - 6: Made one good stop from ex Celtic Stephen Pearson, apart from that had very little to do

Mikael Lustig - 6: Relatively quiet game by his recent standards

Dedryck Boyata - 6: Played a couple of loss passes but otherwise had another solid game

Jozo Simunovic - 6: Dealt well with Motherwell's main threat Louis Moult

Kieran Tierney - 7: A good performance as usual, lucky to avoid injury after that terrible challenge by Bowman

Nir Bitton - 6: Combined some great skill with some truly poor touches

Scott Brown - 7: Player up to his usual standard, unlucky not to score with a fierce drive over the bar

James Forrest - 8: Another fine game for the rejuvenated Forrest, scored a great goal and gave Motherwell problems the entire game

Liam Henderson - 6: Was unlucky not to gave Celtic the lead but had a quiet game, replaced at half-time

Scott Sinclair - 7: Displayed some superb skill but blotted the copybook by missing a sitter in the second half

Moussa Dembele - 7: Another goal, another game, but a quiet game by his incredibly high standards

Subs:

Stuart Armstrong - 6: Came on for Henderson at half-time and displayed his usual attacking threat

Callum McGregor - N/A: On too late to affect the game
