  • Monday, the start of the week - and the new start of a new week on your favourite Celtic blog! As there's no game until Saturday - against miserable Mark McGhee's Motherwell - watch out for a @GIGPOD podcast this week where the esteemed author of this article will explore the ideas behind the site and discuss all matters Celtic. It's bound to be a riot of fun!
  • The big news yesterday was the Scottish Cup draw, with Celtic given a decent tie, at home to St Mirren. A home draw is always favourable, especially when we could have ended up with a trip to either Pittodrie or Ibrox (laughs). Looking at the draw overall, there is a good chance of some 'big' teams getting to the semi-finals, who we'd probably beat anyway...if we get there.
  • James Forrest has praised Moussa Dembele, by saying that he could easily hit 40 goals this season. Dembele...40...hmmm, sure I've heard that number in conjunction with him before.
  • ON THIS DAY: in 2010, Celtic and Aberdeen played out an utterly bizarre 4-4 draw at Pittodrie, which featured Robbie Keane's first league goal, Celtic blowing a 2 goal lead and one of the strangest handballs you'll ever see by Edson Braafheid. Oh, and Darren O'Dea got sent-off, in a game which seemed to sum up the chaotic nature of the Tony Mowbray era. Watch the 'highlights', if you dare.
