CELTIC V BAYERN MUNICH: CHAMPIONS LEAGUE GROUP B MATCHDAY 4; TUESDAY 31ST OCTOBER 7:45PM

Celtic aim to bounce from their heavy defeat in Munich two weeks ago with the return game at Celtic Park.

Team Selection: With Jozo Simunovic still out and Cristan Gamboa out the picture completely, it looks as if Nir Bitton will fill in at centre-back again. Oh joy. Mikael Lustig will return to right back with the six year deal man KT at left-back. Craig Gordon will be the custodian once more.

Midfield will be a key area of the game and it’s vital that Brendan Rodgers gets him team selection correct. Scott Brown will return, so should Callum McGregor and possibly Stuart Armstrong. Or maybe Olivier Ntcham. Tom Rogic will probably be on the bench.

Further forward, Scott Sinclair and James Forrest will be on the wing with newly called up French international Moussa Dembele the lone striker.

Previous Meetings: The less said about our 3-0 defeat two weeks ago, the better.

Prediction: On paper this seems like a great time to be playing Bayern. They will be missing Lewandowski, Neuer and Muller, three huge players...but we are still without big Jozo, and I fear that our makeshift defence won’t keep Bayern out. A ‘heroic’ defeat awaits.
